Who Are We
Backpack Buddies is a program that provides school students in need, a bag of food for the weekend. The students take the food home in their backpacks. (We are their backpack buddies)
The food is purchased using monetary donations. MPAC, which bpb is a division of, absorbs some of the administrative costs, receives donations and purchases the food needed each week. Thankfully, Dantzler Memorial Methodist Church is our host for food storage and packing bags.
We are back at Dantzler Memorial! We are so happy to be back in our original location. We are so thankful for all of you that continued to help us throughout the last several months.
Sponser a Child!
Businesses and Organizations can sponsor one child for the school year for $125.00.
Individuals can sponsor one child for a month for $20.00.
We accept all donations big or small.
You could also volunteer to buy, stock or pack food! We are always eager to see new faces!
